Jack Crawford

Around the turn of the century historians began to collect the names of Pony Express riders. The St. Joseph Musuem has compiled a list from all of those sources and have tried to verify them. In some cases all that can be found is a name on a list. This is the case with Jack Crawford.

However, his name is on a list compiled by Kate Carter during the early part of the 1900s. She specialized in Mormon riders or riders in the Utah area. For many years she was the director of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Carter was pretty accurate in her listings.
